Wunderkind & World Traveler: Friday Feature 

Megan Adelsberger began her dance training at Elower-Sicilia Productions in Thurmont, Maryland at age five. An advanced technician at a young age, she became a member of their performing arts company for the next 13 years. 

Megan spent summers studying under celebrated dancers in New York City and Los Angeles and spent her college years at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Megan also spent two years traveling on Holland America Cruise Ships, developing her artistry while exploring the world. 

Megan was a featured dancer in Cultural Soul’s show Movement, which was artistically directed by hip-hop legend Moncell “Ill Cosby” Durden and she had her choreography showcased in the Eureka Dance Festival in Washington D.C. She can be caught dancing on Fox’s hit T.V. series So You Think You Can Dance, during Season 6 and 7 of “Vegas Week” and the LA Results Show. She recently performed at the Jazz Dance World Congress in Pittsburgh, PA. 

When Megan is not busy performing, she shares her passion for teaching and choreographing at studios such as Elower-Sicilia Productions, Ashburn Academy of Dance, CityDance Center and The Pointe Performing Arts Academy.

Megan has had the opportunity to study under Michael Nunn and William Trevitt of The Royal Ballet on A Chance to Dance, a Nigel Lythgoe series on Ovation.
